Every year hundreds of young Jewish Russians gather together for four days – not just to enjoy themselves, not to pray, but to consider questions concerning their Jewish identity.
The conversation, on the eve of Limmud Nobel Moscow, focused on how to enhance Jewish identity among young adult Russian speaking Jews around the world.
If anyone was in doubt that there is a resurgence of Jewish life in the Former Soviet Union, they would certainly have thought otherwise had they spent a few hours in the occasionally exhausting.
